Music for Humanity sponsors this wonderful event at the beautiful Goshen Public Library & Historical Society!
Special guest will be Barry Adelman, the heart, soul, brains, and muscle of Music for Humanity, a not-for-profit organization founded in 2005 to "spread more music throughout the world via mostly free live performances and by supporting young aspiring musicians, who are music majors at an accredited college or university in the United States, with scholarships. [So far, they've] given $151,000 in music scholarships. These scholarship recipients become our 'Music Ambassadors' and share their music both in performance and by becoming music teachers."
Why do they do it? They "do it because, despite our differences (religiously, politically, ethnically, and economically), music has the power to bring us together. Music builds the invisible roads and bridges that connect our hearts and souls. More connections mean a better world for all of us. More music means a better world for all of us."
