This is a brand-new listening room series called "Sweetheart of the Rodeo," and I'll be sharing the evening with vocalist/guitarist Sarah Anjali! (Learn more about Sarah at www.sarahanjali.com)

*What’s a listening room? A win-win! The audience members, typically 20-40, get an intimate musical experience without the distractions or noisy patrons of larger venues. The artists get an attentive, appreciative audience and a living wage in an acoustically ideal space.

*Why Sweetheart of the Rodeo? It’s the name of The Byrds’ sixth, album, widely recognized as the first “Americana” album, a genre that encompasses popular American musical forms—everything from bluegrass to blues, country to jazz, folk to rock. Our line-up of musicians spans all these styles and represents the very best in our local landscape!

A song for you! They are "the only vinyl music bar in the heart of the Catskills"! I read a nice article about them in the Chronogram, and I knew that this could be a good spot to play in! They agreed! I love their menu, too! It's a very sweet spot! Why don't you come?
